“Where do I go from here?” is a question that every individual has asked themselves at some point in their lives. Challenges, anxiety, trauma, etc. They can all seem chaotic and leave us doubting our own resilience. Our cultures and upbringings define us, cultivating who we are, our very DNA, and the way we connect with others. So, the question remains: “Where do I go from here?” My aspiration for my clients is to serve as the therapeutic bridge that empowers them to take back control and promote positive change for future generations.
My name is Erika Arroyave- I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, a rostered Child-Parent Psychotherapist, Circle of Security Facilitator, and Infant Mental Health Specialist with the state of Florida.
I had the honor of graduating from Florida Atlantic University with my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work, along with certifications in Pre-Law and Child Welfare. My experience over the last five years includes focused clinical work and home visiting with newborns, young children, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, relational, attachment, and developmental issues; both in session and in the Courtroom.
I strive to establish an emotionally safe environment for my clients to process and explore their past, present, and future, fully accepting of all strengths and vulnerabilities. My approach is carefully crafted to meet my client’s needs and goals in a way that feels most authentic to them, integrating Evidence-Based modalities such as Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing in both English and Spanish.
