Pam Kern is a U.S. licensed clinical trauma psychotherapist and maritime mental health expert. Her maritime career started in the cruise sector in 1996 and sailed for 18 years on board cruise ships as a Guest Relations Manager, directing a myriad of issues for up to 3200 guests and crew. This led to her clinical mental health research and master’s degree in advanced clinical practice in social work Columbia University, specializing within the workplace. She provides unparalleled expertise from her rare combination as a mental health clinician, a former seafarer, employee assistance program (EAP) professional, and spouse of an active sea captain.

I have extensive experience with trauma and crisis with diverse global expertise in various cultures. I work with teens and adults in all areas of life sharing my global experience locally. My areas of specialty, but limited to are in the areas of trauma, cognitive injuries and diseases and life transitions.
As a therapist, my approach to healing is a 360° view using different modalities that complement you as an individual and align with your goals.
